[News] CNBLUE ‘WAVE’, ranks no.1 in Oricon Chart on the release day in Japan

CNBLUE once again showed just how hugely popular they are in Japan. Their 3rd Japanese album, WAVE ranked no.1 in Oricon Chart.

CNBLUE has released album WAVE which is filled up with 11 self-composed songs on September 17th. This album is sweeping various local charts including being no.1 in Japanese Oricon Daily Chart on its release day.

Title song Radio which written and composed by Jung Yong Hwa had made headlines by getting selected as theme song of Japanese popular TV programs such as MUSIC LAUNCHER, MUSIC BB, and Locamitsu FRIDAY.

Not only that, even before the album’s release, Radio has topped the best digital chart in Japan, Recochoku’s K-pop rank, and claimed the number one position for K-pop single and Ringtone chart in Dwango.

WAVE is released in four versions including the limited edition A and B, regular edition, and the limited edition of CNBLUE’s official fan club BOICE. Each version is provided with DVDs containing various videos of Radio MV, Summer Sonic 2013 live stage, and fan meeting in 2014.

Meanwhile, CNBLUE is going to participate as the only domestic band in the closing ceremony of the Asian Games held at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the coming October 4th. They will also hold Japanese Arena Tour WAVE, which has the same title with their album, from October 29th to December 4th.
