[News] CNBLUE’s ‘Can’t Stop’ picked as 2014’s most loved K-pop song in Taiwan

CNBLUE’s title track from their fifth Korean mini-album, ‘Can’t Stop’ has been selected to be the most loved K-pop song in Taiwan during year 2014.

Taiwan’s radio music program, Hit FM, picked top 100 most popular songs in 2014 based on music requests, album selling and internet voting.

‘Can’t Stop’ ranked in number fourth position after Taiwan’s popular singer Jolis Tsai’s ‘Play’, Stefanie Sun’s ‘Kepler’ and the OST of animation movie ‘Frozen’, ‘Let It Go’, that each ranked in number 1, 2, 3 respectively.

With this achievement, ‘Can’t Stop’ earned the highest rank for K-pop song on the chart, proving the group’s popularity among any other K-pop singers included on the chart, which are Super Junior’s ‘Mamacita’ (ranked 6th), Lyn’s ‘My Destiny’ (ranked 10th), FT Island’s ‘Listen to Me’ (ranked 13th), Girls’ Generation’s ‘Mr.Mr’ (ranked 19), EXO’s ‘Overdose’ (ranked 21st) and many more.

Ever since its release in February 2014, ‘Can’t Stop’ have been earning recognitions from various medias internationally. The song ranked the highest for K-pop song in American media, Mashable’s ‘Top 50 tweeted songs in 2014′ and listed in another American media, Billboard on the list of “2014 K-POP TOP 10″.
