With his solo debut coming up, CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa’s pre-released song Mileage has topped the music charts in China.
On January 9, Jung Yong Hwa pre-released the song Mileage from his full-length album One Fine Day. The music video for Mileageimmediately ranked number one on Yinyuetai′s real time V-chart for Korean section and has kept its spot for six days straight.
It has also ranked number one on the weekly chart, leaving a large gap with his competitors. The music video for Mileage is close to getting over two million views on Yinyuetai alone.
Apart from Yinyuetai, Mileage also ranked number one on Kugou’s Korea-Japan new music chart, gathering immense popularity in China.
A number of major media outlets in China have been showing a lot of interest in Jung Yong Hwa’s upcoming collaboration with popular star, JJ Lin. Sina.com, Soju.com, QQ.com and more put up the two artists’ picture on their main page on January 13, announcing their upcoming collaboration.
JJ Lin is a singer-songwriter who has been promoting actively for 13 years since he debuted in 2003. Jung Yong Hwa has been gaining popularity as a K-pop singer, topping the Gaon Weibo chart for eight weeks straight.
Jung Yong Hwa will be releasing One Fine Day on January 20 and launch promotional activities.
