[News] Jung Yonghwa holds successful solo concert in Tokyo Budokan

Singer-songwriter from group CNBLUE, Jung Yonghwa, successfully held an encore concert for ‘One Fine Day’ Asia Tour in Tokyo Budokan on May 6.

This is the second encore concert for Yonghwa in Tokyo after previously holding the encore concert on March 28 following earlier concerts on March 7-8. Confirming the “Jung Yonghwa’s Effect” on his huge popularity in Japan, Yonghwa pulled in a total of 30,000 people in four concerts in Tokyo city.

yonghwa one fine day - budokan1In his encore concert in Budokan, Yonghwa prepared a special rock version of ‘Feeling’ and ‘Can’t Stop’. He also performed a cover version of Maroon 5′s ‘Payphone’, and Bruno Mars’ ‘Treasure’.

“I’m so happy that I can open a solo concert in Tokyo Budokan. I will work even harder in the future to show you more excellent performances. I think that because of fans there is Jung Yonghwa Existing right now, I hope today will be your ‘One Fine Day’,” Yonghwa said in the concert.

Yonghwa will continue his concert leg in Singapore on May 30.
